There are three types of requests: Death requests, Development requests, and Plot requests.
What's a death request?
A death request is simple and self-explanatory, you want to request the death of a character. When you make this request, it is assumed your character will be the one who directly caused the death. Basically as stated in teh death rules you have to get our permission to kill somebody. Same goes for admins, you can't kill somebody without approval from other admins.
But Heero, he/she wants to kill their character. Do I still need to do a death request?
Yes you do however there is a 99.99999999% chance we'll say yes if this is the case. If this is the case it for the most part is a formality so we have it on record and we won't get involved for the most part and I still can't think of a reason why we would. I'm certain a reason will come up eventually but for now I can't think of one.
But Heero, you approved a death request killing my character does that mean I'm dead?
No. What I have done is give them permission to attempt to kill you once. If they fail they will need to fill out another death request and get it approved a second time. If the death happens and you believe you were cheated. Simply go to an admin and say you think you were. Give them why you think you should stay alive or give how your character could have survived. I would also like to add that we will be approving very few of these so make sure your reasons are sound.
note: If you wanted to die we will not help you in this case. We will check before approval to make sure we aren't lied to (which will result in denial of your request and huge penalties so don't do that).
What's a development request?
A development request is a major development in your character in order to increase his power. Examples are attempting to acquire second origin or going after 4th generation dragon slayer. We are simply saying in order to achieve these powers you must go through us first and show you are developed enough to do so. A list of what requires a development request is below. If it is not on the list you can go ahead.
Things that require development requests:
-S-rank exam (also requires your guildmasters approval as well as an admins approval)
-SS-rank exam (requires multiple admin approvals)
-Dual-element dragon slayers
-4th generation dragon slayers
-Third Ability
-Tertiary Magic
What's a plot request:
A plot request is a request to do something extreme and explosive on the site that will shake the very world of Mages of Destiny. These requests involve guild wars and major destructive powers. These requests will rarely be approved. Most of these involve criminal activity rather than good things.
What requires a plot request:
-Starting a Guild War
-Attempting to Destroy a city
-Attempted Genocide(of any kind)
-A war in general
